As the application finds your headset, you'll see an information about it on the screen. If no remote devices were found, try to do all this again. Bluetooth allows devices to be paired and used together and headsets are a popular accessory. The ability to listen to your music, video or calls in stereo and be across the room from the connected device is a huge convenience. The in-flight cable allows the headset to be used with the Bluetooth radio disabled, a requirement for most airline travel.

I was able to adjust the volume up and down as I desired and the levels were more than adequate, even loud when paired with some devices which is rare with most bluetooth headsets. If your device supports the AVRVP profile then happily you will be able use the BTH-820 to control the music by pausing, playing and skipping backwards and forward to the next track, very nice and works flawlessly. So the computer must be running to charge the headset, which seems like a waste of energy. Sony does sell an external 110V charger for the headset, however. Sound quality was also surprisingly better then expected considering the fact it is a wireless headset.

First, it acts as a stereo headset so you can listen to music and second, it acts as a handsfree earpiece so you can make and receive phone calls. Plus it also acts as a remote, so you can control your MP3 player wirelessly, too. I use the player to listen to music as well as my books from Audible.com . If you are listening to music for long periods, you will want to ensure that the headphones are comfortable and don’t make your ears hurt! Again, you will probably need to pay a higher price for a headset that feels good and light on your head than one that feels like it’s got you in a headlock!

Now that I have a 4GB Memory Card (and soon an even larger one) I can take quite a bit of music with me on the road. My BlackBerry also has a feature built in that my iPod does not – A2DP – or Stereo Bluetooth. When the boom slides back, the call ends and/or the user’s music selection resumes play. For help determining whether your phone is Bluetooth stereo enabled Enjoy the freedom of wireless stereo music from your iPodreg with the Motorolatrade D650 adapter. Simply plug the Motorolatrade D650 into your iPodreg, pair it to any Motorolatrade Bluetoothreg stereo headphone, and play!

By tapping on either side of this button, you can also remotely change music tracks. Additionally, a conveniently placed volume button lets you adjust the volume of your music or phone call at any time. The A2DP support lets users wirelessly listen to stereo music and answer or end calls without a separate adapter or having to pick up the phone. The device's pendant-plus-earphone design includes a central control panel that lets users wirelessly advance through songs or change the volume. Maybe really old Macs can't handle it, but we have a PowerBook here that's several years old and does NOT have EDR-capable hardware, yet it handles stereo music over Bluetooth just fine to our iMuffs wireless headphones. I haven't confirmed, but my guess is that Leopard provides Bluetooth 2.0 for any Mac with Bluetooth.

A2DP with the exact same headset and the exact same sound file played through my WM6 phone and my WinXP PC make slightly different, but noticeable changes in the music. But then again, with different post decoding processing, it should be a little different. When used with the D200 adapter and Windows Media Player the music is paused during a phone call, which is a nice touch. She states "Stereo music played through the Voyager 855 sounded middling to poor. I heard some bass, though it distorted easily and was more boom than actual punch.

Music sounded pretty good, though not as rich or as warm as it did over other headphones I tested. Phone calls sounded fine, and I was particularly impressed with how the BackBeat handled background noise. Music will automatically pause allowing you to answer the call by pressing the control button (the skinny button next to the play/pause button) on the Right side. The S-2’s can actually be paired with as many as 6 devices. When the Bluetooth stereo headset invokes the AVRCP Pause command, the Bluetooth music play can start streaming silence so that to the end user music appears to have been paused. This option is shown in Figure 5.
