Bluetooth allows devices to be paired and used together and headsets are a popular accessory. I was able to adjust the volume up and down as I desired and the levels were more than adequate, even loud when paired with some devices which is rare with most bluetooth headsets. If your device supports the AVRVP profile then happily you will be able use the BTH-820 to control the music by pausing, playing and skipping backwards and forward to the next track, very nice and works flawlessly. So the computer must be running to charge the headset, which seems like a waste of energy. Sony does sell an external 110V charger for the headset, however. Sound quality was also surprisingly better then expected considering the fact it is a wireless headset.

A2DP with the exact same headset and the exact same sound file played through my WM6 phone and my WinXP PC make slightly different, but noticeable changes in the music. But then again, with different post decoding processing, it should be a little different.
